While I am mostly familiar with his scuzzy and sadistic film, Nightmare (1981), I was quite taken with his versatility as this movie isn't nearly as sadistic and it layers on the sensational drama to unbelievable proportions. It takes about an hour for the murders to take place and I successfully guessed the killer, which is rare. Most of his films are shot independently and with an experimental style.
